How to Host a Silent Disco

Okay, so we’ve convinced you that a Silent Disco is a great idea, but maybe you’re still stuck on the how. If you’re not sure which steps to take, or what a Silent Disco will entail, we’ve got you covered. If you want to host a successful Silent Disco, you’ll want to make sure you check these boxes:

  1. Pick a Venue

Lucky for you, a Silent Disco can be held in virtually any space—from a small room for a dozen guests to a park 300 yards wide, our wireless headphones have you covered. That means you can pick a venue that fits your budget, aesthetic, and location needs without stressing about the Disco.

  2. Rent Your Equipment

If you’re in the Denver area, you can easily rent from us, including optional delivery, and we’ll make sure you know how to use the equipment. If technology isn’t your jam, don’t worry! We offer a dedicated member of staff in our Premium Package who will attend your event and stay on hand to ensure nothing goes awry—not that we’d expect it to. The tech is easy to use and the headphones are very intuitive.

  3. Decide on a Playlist

You can pick one playlist for all of your guests, or you can offer two or three different channels that they can toggle between. Think about the vibes of your event and the sort of playlist you’d like to offer, or make three different options so everyone finds something they like! We suggest choosing different genres, like EDM on one channel and pop on another, so everyone finds something to suit their tastes.

  4. Invite Your Guests

Once you’ve got the details down, you’ll need to invite your guests! If you’re hosting a private party, you’ll know your guest list in advance. If it’s a community or fundraising event, you’ll want to get the word out. Use social media and community event pages to let people know the time, location, and price of your event.

  5. Enjoy!

You worked hard to plan this event—don’t forget to enjoy it, too!
